Achievement of Program Goals

Program Goals

Means of Success

1. Train Physician Assistants to be able to pass the PANCE examination at a nationally acceptable percentage

The MPAS program will follow the NCCPA template in its construction of didactic and clinical course content, striving to reach the minimum of the NCCPA National Standards goals, which will be collected upon graduation of the first cohort and posted on this website.

2. Prepare our graduates to be competitive when seeking a position as a PA-C

The MPAS program will provide instruction in the interview and contract process during call-backs in the clinical year, which will be measured through graduate and employer surveys, collected upon graduation of the first cohort and posted on this website.

3. Maintain instructional quality by ongoing self-assessment and corrective action

Each semester the MPAS program will assess courses and student performance by means of instructor surveys and student performance on objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs) and other exams, applying corrections to content and policies as warranted and reviewed in conjunction with its PA Advisory Board.
